Outsourcing Is The Way To Go

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

If you’ve just started an online business you’ll know just how overwhelming it is to keep up with all the tasks you have to do everyday.

I know I really struggled at the beginning to try and find enough hours in a day to write on my blog, design a squeeze page, create sales page, update on Twitter and Facebook, write articles and the list goes on….

But luckily for us entrepreneurs someone has thought of a way to help us share the load. Ian Ippolito started ‘Rent a Coder’ to help solopreneurs connect with other freelances you can take the strain from their projects or daily tasks.

The company has recently changed it’s name to VWorker – which stands for ‘Virtual Worker’ where you can post a project and pay someone else to do the work for you on an hourly basis or project-by-project basis – sometimes at a fraction of the cost of you doing it yourself.

Need to outsource some of your daily tasks or a project? Choose the perfect worker from over 10,000 at vWorker.com.com

Twitter – Friend or Follow

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Did you know that Twitter will cap you following more than 2000 without you having a certain percentage of people following you back?

This is to stop spammers from following 50,000 and only actually following 23 themselves.

Ideally, you want everyone who you are following to follow you back. A great little tool to do this is Friend or Follow. You’ll be able to see exactly the people you are following WHO AREN’T FOLLOWING UP BACK, then go in and ‘unfollow’ them, so you can add more people who will follow you back.

Are we connecting on Twitter?

Article Writing will raise your online visibility, but it does take time for the results to show.  Have you always wanted to put pen to paper and become a published author? But have you decided against it as you’re convinced you’ve got nothing interesting to say?

You may even think that to become an author you have to write a famous novel or become the next J.K. Rowling. But it’s not as difficult as you think.

Millions of people worldwide are seeking help on the internet – but they aren’t all looking to read a best-seller book. In fact, initially most people look for short snippets of information to help them solve their problems. You’ve done that yourself, right? Article writing is one of the best ways to raise your online visibility.

I’ve found since I started writing articles my online visibility has soared. I joined EzineArticles and soon reached Platinum status – which awards me an ‘Expert Author‘ and allows me to get my articles published very quickly – sometimes in just  a few hours.

Since subscribing to several article directories last year I was amazed to see over 25,000+ people worldwide have read my articles on a variety of topics from internet marketing, blogging, teleseminars, success, dating, careers, personality types or affiliate products I have used or recommend.

Remember, you already have a lot of experience of life to bring to the table!

You can write about all sorts of topics too, you don’t have to stay in your niche. Have a look at the articles I’ve written and Articles By Irene and study the formula I’ve used to attract 9,000 people viewing my articles in just one article directory!

You may already have started your own home-based business and be up and running, but for those of you still doing your research, this article should help you work out who are your ideal customers and how to market to them.

Don’t be under the impression that everyone will be your customer, as it’s very difficult to be ‘all things to all people‘ this is just too broad. You’ll need to narrow down your focus and understand how to offer the right goods and services to the right people to make a profit in your home-based business.
If you’ve been following me on my blog or listening in on my free teleclasses, you’ll know by now my ideal target market comprises of small home-business owners who are new to internet marketing who struggle to master the technology they need.

Here are a few of the demographics you should research to identify your ideal clients:

Age: Babies, toddlers, teenagers, young adults, middle aged, elderly

Gender: Male or female (or both)

Education/earnings: Lower or middle class, high earners, very wealthy

Marital status: Singles, married, divorced, living together as partners, widow/widowers

Locality: Local, national, or worldwide

Ethnicity: Asian, Afro-American or all groups

Religious background: One specific group or all groups

Family Life: Newly married, married with children, married no children, single parents, grandparents

After narrowing down your specific ideal market, you will have to spend some time researching the different ways you need to market to them. This can vary on their ages, gender, income and buying habits.

You may need to try several different types of marketing before you get it right.

I have found the 20 Ways to Make $100 Per Day Online report to be very useful in exploring different ways to market to different groups – I hope you find it useful too.

Power of the Mastermind Group

Bob Jenkins’ Power Lunch – Wagamama, London

Remember, when you do business online it’s important to connect with other internet marketers. Last summer I was lucky enough to receive an invitation from Bob Jenkins, aka Bob the Teacher, who kindly hosted a Power Lunch for us all at the famous Wagamama restaurant in London, just around the corner from the British Museum.

Food was delicious, company and conversation was so interesting.

Don’t miss the opportunity to join up with ‘like minded’ people if possible, as this is the way for you to share information and keep motivated.

As early as the 1930s Napoleon Hill, in his classic novel Think and Grow Rich, had identified the power of Mastermind groups when he described it as “The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.”

Lots of purpose and harmony was shared today at Wagamama.
