I know I really struggled at the beginning to try and find enough hours in a day to write on my blog, design a squeeze page, create sales page, update on Twitter and Facebook, write articles and the list goes on….

That is, the human brain is designed to focus on one thing at a time (although it does have the capacity to concentrate on many different things all at once, too).

This got me thinking about how you can benefit from this research because if you are busy doing 10 things at once, chances are you’ll go round in circles and only get a couple of them finished during a working day.

So the best thing to do is focus on just one task at a time, whether it be writing a blog post, writing an article, designing a ‘Squeeze’ page, doing research for your eBook… ONLY FOCUS ON THIS ONE TASK until you have it finished.

Then you can go back to checking your emails, Blackberrys, iPhones, etc.

You’ll find you’ll be much more productive as it’s not how many hours you put into your business – but how much you actually GET DONE that will make a difference.
